Melbourn Fun Run 2025

REGISTRATION FOR THIS YEAR’S MELBOURN FUN RUN IS NOW CLOSED

On Sunday 11 May 2025, we’re looking forward to welcoming you to our FIRST EVER Melbourn Fun Run.  Whether you’re coming to run or walk, volunteer or cheer, we can’t wait to see you.

There are two events , our 5km for those who like a longer distance and a 2km family run, open to everyone including our younger participants.  Both distances are all about having fun and raising much needed funds for our local village primary school. 

Both events start and end at the Pavilion on the Moor playing fields in Melbourn. There will be plenty for spectators to enjoy too with refreshments available throughout the morning. We’ll also be holding an optional fancy dress competition, for runners and spectators alike. More details on that to follow soon.

So what are you waiting for? We can’t wait to see you on the Start line.

  • Bouncy Castle!

    We are very happy to also have a bouncy castle at our fun run, sponsored by OVRLOAD. Only £1.50 per child for 5 minutes.

    We are delighted to announce that the fancy dress theme, chosen by the children of Melbourn Primary School, is ANIMALS! There will be prizes awarded on the day for best dressed (adults too!) so get creative and come on down! You don’t even have to be in the race to take part in the fun.

  • Bakers Needed!

    We are planning to run a refreshments stall at the fun run on 11 May and need your help to bake flapjacks and cakes for all the hungry runners! If you can help by baking a sweet treat, please contact funrun@mpsptfa.org. Cakes can be dropped off on Friday at school pick up in the afternoon,
